Can a document be notarized online in the Philippines?＋
The Supreme Court's Rules on Electronic Notarization provide for in-person and remote electronic notarization through commissioned Electronic Notaries Public and accredited electronic notarization facilities. Whether a particular document is eligible depends on the document and the ENP's legal assessment.
What do I need before my session?＋
Prepare the final PDF, a valid government-issued ID, a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. Every signer should join the session personally.
What happens during remote electronic notarization?＋
The ENP checks the document and signers, confirms identity and willingness, witnesses the required act over live video, and completes the electronic notarial certificate and seal.
How much does it cost?＋
The published pay-as-you-go price is ₱488 per notarized document, VAT-inclusive. Law firms and high-volume teams can request custom pricing.
Can lawyers use NotarialOS to perform electronic notarial acts?＋
Yes. Commissioned Electronic Notaries Public can use the ENP workspace to manage sessions, documents, recordings, payments, and electronic notarial book entries. Lawyers who are not yet commissioned can follow our application guide.
